To escape the oppression of his corrupt teammates, a reluctant superhero seeks the help of a rogue scientist to permanently rid him of his powers.
synopsis
Hank Pishkin, a member of the superhero team The Ascenders, finds himself at odds with his teammates – four rough-and-tumble jerks who strongarm Hank into using his holographic powers to create fictional enemies for their staged fights.
When Hank sees a news report featuring a Professor Vinkovich claiming that he can remove the powers of any so-called-superhero, he makes it his mission to find the professor and convince him to take away his extra-normal abilities.
Once they've teamed up, Hank and Vinkovich scramble to work through the superpower-removal process before the other Ascenders can realize Hank's deception and set out to stop him.
